Meet Dr. Edgerton Manta

Dr. Liz Edgerton Manta grew up in Maine and received her undergraduate degree in Biology from Ithaca College in 2016. She then moved to Philadelphia, where she worked in research for two years before attending the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine and graduating with her VMD in 2022.

Dr. Manta is Fear Free certified and aims to make vet visits as enjoyable and stress-free as possible for pets AND their owners. Her professional interests include preventative medicine, surgery, and nutrition. Dr. Manta lives in West Philadelphia with her husband and her dog, Walter, and cat, Rory. Outside of work, she loves reading, live music, and spending as much time outside as possible.
