Meet Dr. Rosenberg
Marc A. Rosenberg, VMD is a 1971 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Marc has cared for the companion pets of southern New Jersey for over 45 years. Prior to retiring, Dr. Marc was the Director of Voorhees Veterinary Center and a member of the New Jersey Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners.
Dr. Marc's numerous television and radio appearances have been heard and seen by millions of pet owners. Perhaps most notably, he hosted his own nationally seen PBS television series "People, Pets and Dr. Marc". His radio show Speaking About Pets aired weekly on Philadelphia's 1210 WCAU for eight years. Oprah Winfrey had Dr. Marc as a guest on her show to discuss the subject of dealing with the death of a family pet. He is the author of "Companion Animal Death and Pet Owner Grief", a publication that has comforted many grieving owners in their time of need.
Dr. Marc is past president of the South Jersey Veterinary Medical Association and the recipient of the University of Pennsylvania veterinary school's award of merit for outstanding contributions to veterinary medicine. He shares his home with his wife, their dogs Millie and Idgie, and cats Scooter and Mr. Burns. He is enjoying a well earned retirement!
